By choosing At Your Door Mobile Storage we`ll bring the mini-storage right to your home. It`s self storage with the ease, convenience and added service of bringing storage containers right to your door. Using this service you will save yourself from expensive truck rentals, loading and unloading twice and making multiple trips to the mini-storage facility. You will load and unload your containers only once, meaning less handling of your valuables and decreasing the possibility of damage. Our state of the art warehouse is climate controlled, meaning your valuables will feel like they are still at your home.
2. How does At Your Door Mobile Storage compare to other leading mobile storage companies?
- Our containers are smaller. We use a standard size, specially engineered container having dimensions of 5`w x 8`l x 7`h. They hold approximately 1 ½ rooms of furniture per container. You can order as many or as few containers as you need and only pay for the space you use!
- Versatile. We use portable forklifts for level loading and unloading of the containers. This allows us much more versatility in placing your containers where you would like them.
- Limited shifting while in transit. Using a smaller container means less empty space and less shifting while your items are in transit. All of our delivery equipment is fitted with air-ride suspension – providing smooth transit to and from your home.
- Easy Logistics. Smaller containers means easier sorting and logistical loading of each container. You can seperate garage items from antique furniture. It`s also simpler to find certain items while in storage.
- Breathable Container. All of our storage containers are made from high quality, breathable wood. This allows air to circulate through your container, not sealing moisture within causing mold and mildew to form.
- One economical drop off and pick-up. We can deliver and pick-up up to 9 containers at one time – not just one at a time. This allows our delivery charges to be much less when using multiple containers.
- Neighbourhood Courtesy. Our drivers will only leave containers in an area that suit your needs but doesn`t impeed any others in the area. Containers will fit into a standard size parking space, thus limiting any obstructions to your neighbours.
- Costs. Order as many or as few containers as you need and only pay for the ones you use. Only pay for the space you need!

Our monthly storage fees are comparable to most quality mini-storage facilities. When you include costs of renting trucks, fuel and per kilometer charges, you will find At Your Door Mobile Storage very economical. 4. How big are your storage containers?
All of our storage containers are one standard size of 5`wide x 8`long x 7`high and hold approximately 1 ½ average size rooms of furniture. Yes – your couch will fit in! Couches, king-size beds, hutches, armoires, etc all fit into At Your Door Mobile Storage containers.
5. What are the storage containers made out of?
At Your Door Mobile Storage containers are made out of high quality plywood and lumber. The benefit to using wooden storage containers is that they ensure moisture and excessive heat doesn`t stay trapped inside, causing mold and mildew to grow – it`s breathable. Stored inside our climate controlled warehouse ensures your valuables will be returned in the same condition as when they were placed into storage.
6. How many containers will I need?
Each container holds approximately 1 ½ average sized rooms of household furniture. When you call or email our office, one of our storage professionals can quickly estimate how many containers you may need depending on your purpose of storage. You can always order an extra container and will only be charged for the containers you use. The delivery charges remain the same for 1-6 containers. This is why we usually suggest an extra container to be delivered. If you use it, great. If not, you won`t be charged for any extra delivery or storage fees.
7. What`s the ordering process like?
It`s simple! Simply call or email our office and one of our storage professionals will quickly book a delivery and pick-up date for your containers. We will then email or fax you our storage contract for you to fill out and fax or email back to our office. Once we receive your information and method of payment, we will confirm your delivery date.
8. What`s the delivery process like?
Even simpler! You don`t even need to be home! Once the storage contract is retained in the office, one of our highly experienced, professional drivers will simply deliver the containers to your home. We use only high quality delivery equipment with smooth riding, air-suspension. If you`re not home, simply mark an `X` on your driveway with sidewalk chalk and the driver will place your container where you like. Don`t worry about scheduling someone to be home or take time off work. When you arrive home, your storage containers will be waiting for you.
9. How long do I have to load my containers?
Pack at your own pace! Pack your storage containers at a pace that suits YOUR schedule. Take a week or schudule a same day pick-up (if available). If you need an extra day to load or unload, just let us know. Take your time – there`s no need to stress.
10. Does At Your Door Mobile Storage provide help loading the containers?
We at At Your Door Mobile Storage cannot load your containers, however, if you require assistance At Your Door Mobile Storage can arrange for experienced, professional movers to assist you in loading or unloading your storage containers. Whether you are planning a full house move or just need assistnace for moving larger items At Your Door Mobile Storage can accomodate.
11. How does the container lock?
You provide your own lock – or purchase a lock from us - and you keep the key! For security purposes we do not keep any keys. If you have trouble closing/locking the containers, gently lift on the bottom of the door. If you have any other problems, contact our office.
12. What if I need to access my containers while in storage?
No problem. As long as your account balance is paid in full you can arrange access to your container(s). We ask that you provide us with 24hr notice for an appointment to enter the warehouse. We can arrange a time for you to enter the warehouse during regular business hours or leave your containers in a designated spot outside for you to access at your leisure.
13. Is your warehouse secure?
Very. Our warehouse is equiped with state-of-the-art alarm systems. Our system includes video surveillance and recording at each access point within the warehouse. The system is monitored from a central location. Only authorized personell are allowed access to the warehouse. Customers requiring access to their containers must make appointments as we operate as a limited access warehouse.
14. How do I pay for my storage?
We require credit card payments for all storage fees and delivery/re-delivery charges. We accept Visa and Mastercard. You can visit our office to make monthly storage payments via debit card but we still require a credit card on file and for the initial payment. |
